Job summary

UNC Health is seeking Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners for their UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics across Wake County, NC. Positions are full-time, shift-based, and occur in a walk-in, on-site urgent care setting with on-site X-ray and point-of-care testing.

Providers care for patients aged 4 months and older and work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited PA or NP program, hold NC licensure or be able to obtain it, and bring

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• NC licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience in acute/urgent care, primary care, or emergency room setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries in urgent care settings.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide care to patients 4 months of age and older.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation.
