Job summary

American Family Care invites an Advanced Provider Director to blend direct patient care with clinical leadership across regional clinics. You will mentor providers, lead onboarding, and shape care delivery while partnering with operations to optimize staffing and patient experience.

Reporting to the VP of Provider Services, this role demands strong clinical judgment, board certification, and at least 2 years in urgent care or similar settings.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted NP or PA license with national board certification in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 2 years of urgent care or high-volume clinical experience.
• Current BLS certification; DOT certification preferred/required by market.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Endorsement from Regional Operations Director for AFC candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct patient care in urgent care settings.
• Lead provider onboarding, training, and workflow integration.
• Collaborate with regional operations to optimize staffing and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate documentation and discharge education.
• Mentor market APPs and support provider performance.
