Job summary

American Family Care seeks an Advanced Provider Director (NP/PA) who blends direct patient care with leadership, mentorship, and operational strategy. Reporting to the VP of Provider Services, you will operate in a regional dyad partnership, championing AFC's mission and delivering high-quality urgent care across markets.

Responsibilities include clinical care, leadership development, and partnerships to optimize staffing, documentation, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted NP or PA license in applicable state(s) with national board certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as NP/PA in urgent care or high-volume clinical setting.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to care for lifespans.
• Current BLS certification; DOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent, non-emergent conditions for patients of all ages.
• Lead provider onboarding, training, and workflow integration.
• Collaborate with regional operations to optimize staffing and scheduling.
