UNC Health is seeking Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners for their UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics across Wake County, NC. Positions are full-time, shift-based, and occur in a walk-in, on-site urgent care setting with on-site X-ray and point-of-care testing.

Providers care for patients aged 4 months and older and work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited PA or NP program, hold NC licensure or be able to obtain it, and bring

UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics, located in the Triangle of NC, have openings for Urgent Care Physician Assistants (PA) OR Nurse Practitioners (NP) at multiple locations in Wake County, North Carolina. Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses and minor injuries. Employed positions with UNCHMG are a shift-based model. Our provider team staffs our 8 UNCHMG Wake County based UNC Urgent Care clinics. We see patients 4 months of age and older. Our team includes RNs, CMAs, Rad Techs, MOAs, Physicians and APPs. We have on-site X-Ray and point of care testing. Our clinics are walk-in based with a reservation and wait time system. We look forward to reviewing your application today!

Ideal Candidate

• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Work experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred
• Must provide care to patients 4 months of age and older
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting
• EPIC - EMR Clinic

Schedule

• 8:00am - 8:00pm (Sunday - Saturday)
• Plus, weekends & holidays
• Flexible, Shift-Based Fulltime Schedule
• Location: Multiple Locations - Wake County
