Job summary

Integrity Urgent Care in Huntsville, Texas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team providing urgent care and episodic medical services. The role emphasizes autonomy, collaboration with physicians and staff, and delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification preferred for NP candidates.
• Active Texas license or the ability to obtain one.
• DEA registration or the ability to obtain one.
• Current BLS certification.
• DOT medical examiner certification preferred; candidates willing to obtain certification will also be considered.
• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience preferred, but motivated candidates with applicable clinical experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent and episodic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments.
• Perform procedures, including laceration repair and splinting.
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow‑up care.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff.
