Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington’s Office of Research Development seeks an experienced program administrator to lead a multi-million-dollar grant project across a 30-month period. You will maintain the master budget-to-actual performance records, track milestones, and manage reimbursements with sponsor compliance.

You will coordinate eight partner organizations across higher education, nonprofit arts, municipal government, and private sector, supervise staff and a regional coordinator, and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in related field.
• Experience managing multi-year, multi-partner grant awards.
• Experience coordinating capital projects or construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administration of a multi-million-dollar grant over 30 months, maintaining budget-to-actual performance, deliverables, and milestones.
• Serve as primary contact for 8 partner organizations; convene and facilitate meetings; track decisions to completion.
• Manage reimbursement cycle; collect, verify, and submit expense documentation; ensure allowable costs.
• Build and maintain match documentation across partners; track in-kind and cash match commitments.
• Coordinate capital build-out and equipment procurement across sites; work with IU Purchasing and Risk Management.
• Supervise the Regional Coordinator and project staff; provide direction and professional development.
• Prepare quarterly reports for the governing board and sponsor; monitor evaluation data; ensure PIC compliance.
