Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a seasoned Grants/Proposal Administrator to review and submit standard and complex proposals and post-proposals actions. This role acts as an authorized official representative and signer for the university.

You will advise team members, train, monitor budgets and compliance, and use systems like Kuali, FastLane, NIH Commons and Grants.gov for submissions and account monitoring across sponsored projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in related field.)
• Master's degree.
• 5 years of experience preparing and submitting grant proposals in a similar role at a university or hospital system.
• 5 years of experience with grants and awards administration or university or research policy/procedure.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit proposals and post-proposals actions.
• Advise staff on proposal services questions and issues related to proposal functions.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines, budgets, and account monitoring for large sponsored projects.
• Mentor staff on budgets, certifications, and university policies; provide guidance to investigators.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electronic systems for proposal submission, acceptance, award management and reporting.
