Job summary

Boston Public Schools seeks a School Psychologist to deliver psychological services to students from pre-school through age 22 in public, private, and parochial schools in Boston. Services include diagnostic, prescriptive, and remedial support, delivered individually or in groups, with collaboration from other professionals.

Qualifications

• Licensed School Psychologist by the Massachusetts Department of Education.
• Ability to administer, score, and interpret standardized instruments.
• Ability to write comprehensive, English-language reports.

Responsibilities

• Provides psychological and educational evaluations in a timely manner for Boston students across settings.
• Participates in IEP meetings to develop appropriate educational plans.
• Provides consultation to teachers and professionals to support student outcomes in the least restrictive environment.
• Performs classroom screening to guide instructional planning.
• Provides prevention, counseling, and crisis response as needed.
• Collaborates with the Office of Special Education and other school staff to enhance services.
