Job summary

Natick Public Schools is seeking a Long Term Substitute School Psychologist to support students in the Natick district from 11/2/2026 through 6/11/2027. The role involves assessments, IEP participation, consultation with teachers, and counseling services within a diverse, high-performing district.

The successful candidate will hold a Master's degree, DESE School Psychologist license, and demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills to serve Pre-K through age 22

Qualifications

• Masters’ Degree
• DESE License as a School Psychologist
• Knowledge of child/adolescent development, social-emotional learning, and IEP regulations
• Experience with testing, report writing, and sharing information with families
• Ability to write comprehensive, informative reports
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in education
• Demonstrated aptitude for work and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Provides psychological and educational evaluations in a timely manner
• Participates in IEP meetings to develop educational plans
• Provides consultation to teachers and other professionals
• Conducts classroom screening to inform instructional planning
• Provides individual and group counseling and prevention services
• Participates in crisis response and ACT Team activities
• Collaborates with the Student Services team to enhance district services
• Performs other related duties as requested
