Job summary

The City of Springfield, Oregon, is seeking an Urban Renewal Analyst to support the City Manager’s Office and its two Urban Renewal Districts. The role involves evaluating feasibility, preparing proposals, coordinating with consultants, and assisting the Springfield Economic Development Agency with materials and analyses.

Ideal candidates will have strong project management skills, an interest in economic development, and familiarity with zoning, planning, and incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, and experience.
• 2 years of experience in urban renewal, project management (budget, planning, execution and monitoring), real estate, land use planning, economic development, or developing proposals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data, plans and reports to gauge project feasibility.
• Develop proposals and work with consultants.
• Support development of materials for the Springfield Economic Development Agency.
