Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library Science from an accredited college.
• Six or more years of management experience in a public library environment.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and evaluates the work of library department managers.
• Develops policies and procedures to increase efficiency of library operations.
• Supervises Deputy Library Director, Librarian III, and other senior staff.
• Develops and administers the library budget; presents budget requests.
