Job summary

Salvation Army Revolution Hawaii is seeking a Resident Advisor/Outreach Coordinator to lead street-level outreach and ministry for at-risk youth, homeless populations, and community partners. You will mentor teams, coordinate field trainings, and support mission-driven activities across multiple ministries.

The role emphasizes building partnerships with local churches, NGOs, and community groups, while supervising team members and ensuring alignment with Salvation Army values and program goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in urban/world mission or graduate of Revolution Hawaii.
• Broad Salvation Army beliefs, practices and programs knowledge.
• Experience in youth work, especially with the homeless in Salvation Army contexts.
• Experience working with community groups.
• Ability to work under pressure with confidentiality.
• Experience leading in team ministry and with campus staff, public, and youth.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with community groups and organizations to form partnerships.
• Organize and lead street-level outreach, including feeding programs and prayer walks.
• Assist in development and implementation of mission opportunities.
• Supervise team members across outreach locations and field trainings.
• Assist with records and reporting related to outreach.
• Lead or participate in Revolution Hawaii team and leadership activities.
• Mentor program members through lessons, meetings, and discussions.
• Support church services, worship, Bible studies, and related ministry duties.
