Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid California teaching credential or ability to obtain one.
• CLAD, BCLAD or ELL authorization preferred.
• Growth mindset; openness to feedback to refine practice.
• PBIS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement instructional plans aligned with California Common Core standards and district goals.
• Assess students regularly and use results to differentiate instruction.
• Create a high-expectations, inclusive classroom culture that supports all students, including English learners.
• Facilitate well-paced, scaffolded lessons with clear objectives and success criteria.
• Use formative and summative assessments to adjust instruction and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage families and community partners to support student success.
• Integrate technology to enhance learning and monitor student progress.
