Envision Education seeks a Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year at our Downtown Oakland Science Academy campus in Oakland.

The role requires designing rigorous math instruction, participating in ongoing professional development, and supporting a diverse student population. You will collaborate with grade teams and families, fostering belonging and equity throughout the learning community.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree or higher.
• Valid California Teaching Credential or out-of-state equivalent with ability to transfer.
• Demonstrated success working with parents and families, especially Black, African American, Latine/a/o/x, and immigrant families.

Responsibilities

• Adapt, internalize, and develop lesson and unit plans aligned to network curriculum.
• Participate in regular professional development and coaching cycles.
• Develop a strong sense of community and belonging in the classroom.
• Leverage student-facing data to differentiate for diverse learners.
• Serve as an advisor and teach daily advisory curriculum.
• Collaborate in grade level and department teams.
• Build strong relationships with families.
