Qualifications

• Master's degree with a major in educational leadership, educational supervision, or related field.
• Valid and active PA Certification as an Elementary Principal.
• Five (5) or more years experience in public education, including secondary or elementary school instruction.
• Skillfully utilize technology and software programs typically used in school administration.
• Demonstrated success in turning around low performing schools and/or underperforming students.
• Knowledge of a standards-based curriculum required in Pennsylvania.
• Urban administration experience preferred.
• Clearances (Acts 34, 114, 151) and suitability to perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Data-driven decision-making to improve student growth and outcomes.
• Provide supervision, leadership, and evaluation of professional staff under the Superintendent.
• Inspire and align stakeholders to support district goals and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
• Lead collaboration with Central Administration to ensure district-wide alignment of programs.
• Create and sustain a culture of high expectations and restorative practices for all students.
