Qualifications

• Master's degree with a major in educational leadership, educational supervision, or a related field.
• Doctorate preferred.
• Eligible or hold a Pennsylvania Principal Certification.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a school administrator, preferable in an urban, turnaround, and/or high-needs environment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates educational, administrative, and counseling activities to improve student achievement.
• Provide transformational leadership to plan, launch, and manage turnaround in a chronically underperforming school.
• Build a positive school culture and climate that supports the whole student.
• Leverage research and data to drive initiatives and instruction.
• Develop a high-performing staff and leadership team through collaboration.
• Conduct annual evaluations of professional and support staff and inform coaching and professional development.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to implement instructional improvement systems and data dashboards.
