Job summary

Avid Bioservices in California is seeking a Manufacturing Associate Upstream to perform cGMP cell culture manufacturing across multi-product processes. You will help with production, documentation, reports, materials purchasing, and equipment service scheduling, contributing to on-time release of quality biologics.

The role emphasizes hands-on operator responsibilities, adherence to GMP, safety, and teamwork, with shift hours 5:00pm–2:00am after training, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience or training in biopharma.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture.
• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred in biology or chemistry.
• Full-time role in Tustin, CA with 5:00pm–2:00am shift after training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate cell culture bioreactors (Wave and 100L-2000L).
• Perform aseptic handling and cell culture expansions.
• Maintain cleanroom and cGMP documentation.
• Schedule service and purchase materials.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with batch records and SOPs.
