Job summary

Avid Bioservices in Tustin, CA seeks an experienced Manufacturing Associate Upstream to perform cell culture manufacturing in a cGMP facility. You will handle bioreactors, media prep, aseptic filling, and documentation to ensure on-time release of high-quality biopharmaceutical products.

The role requires 2+ years in mammalian cell culture, strong documentation skills, and a Bachelor’s/Associate degree in biology or chemistry. Training is provided, with a shift from 5:00pm–2:00am, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of related experience in cell culture/manufacturing.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and cGMP documentation.
• Bachelor’s/Associate degree in biology or chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment daily and operate cell culture bioreactors (Wave, 100L–2000L).
• Perform cell culture expansions and aseptic techniques.
• Prepare media/buffer and perform aseptic filling.
• Maintain cleanroom standards and cGMP documentation.
• Identify deviations and support investigations and CAPAs.
