Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
• 2-4+ years of relevant experience.
• Mammalian cell culture process development for biologics or related modalities.
• Hands-on bioreactor operation, media optimization, process monitoring, scale-up support.
• Experience with Ambr 250 systems and data analysis.
• Strong documentation and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute upstream process development studies for lentiviral in vivo products.
• Perform cell culture experiments using shake flasks, bench-scale bioreactors, and automated systems.
• Support development of scalable fed-batch and perfusion processes.
• Utilize Ambr 250 systems for process development and scale-down studies.
• Apply DOE, data analytics, and visualization for process understanding.
• Build knowledge of PAT, Raman spectroscopy, online monitoring, and digital bioprocessing.
• Analyze data using JMP, MiniTab, Python, Spotfire, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with downstream, analytical, automation, modeling, and formulation teams.
• Author technical reports, development summaries, protocols, and regulatory documentation.
