Job summary

Avid Bioservices in Tustin, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Associate Upstream to perform cGMP cell culture manufacturing in a multi-product facility. The role involves production, documentation, equipment scheduling, and supporting continuous improvement aligned with company values.

You will operate and maintain bioreactors, perform aseptic techniques, manage 5S initiatives, and collaborate across departments to ensure timely production and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience or training in a related field.
• 2+ years of industry experience working with mammalian cell culture.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in biology or chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring of equipment.
• Operate and maintain cell culture bioreactors (Wave and 100L–2000L).
• Conduct aseptic techniques from thaw to expansion and maintenance.
• Maintain cleanroom facilities and cGMP documentation.
• Revise Batch Production Records and SOPs as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet material, testing, and validation needs.
