Job summary

Amaterra in Bend, Oregon, is seeking enthusiastic servers for its exciting new restaurant location. You will artfully serve beverages and food, engage guests, and help create memorable experiences in a high-end setting.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of upscale server experience, holds ServSafe or Food Handler certification and an OLCC permit, and can handle dynamic guest needs with professionalism. Familiarity with Wine Direct or related tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year-related server experience in upscale restaurant setting.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification and an OLCC permit.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification required; ability to comply with state regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with Tock, Toast, Wine Direct preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promote/document drinks; ensure courteous, timely service.
• Take and record orders; coordinate with bar and kitchen; note dietary needs.
• Uphold sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies; assist guests throughout dining experience.
• Maintain table settings, replenish utensils, refill waters, and manage post-meal duties.
• Serve as liaison with front desk and managers; balance cash and vouchers accurately.
• Perform cleaning tasks to health standards; respond to guest requests and special needs.
