Job summary

Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard and The Grange Estate in Oregon wine country seeks an on-call, part-time server or bartender to join our event team. You will deliver impeccable private-event service and gain exposure to our luxury hospitality program.

Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. OLCC and Food Handler's cards are mandatory. Prior upscale event experience is preferred, wine and cocktail knowledge are a plus. Competitive hourly pay plus tips.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server or bartender in an upscale event or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Must have OLCC and Food Handler's card.
• Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a luxury environment.
• Familiarity with wine service and cocktails is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to guests during private events at The Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard and The Grange Estate.
• Serve food and beverages with precision, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, with emphasis on quality and presentation.
• Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Communicate effectively with the culinary and event teams to deliver seamless service.
• Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
