Job summary

Amaterra is launching a new Bend location and seeks enthusiastic, hospitality-driven servers to join our team. Start wages are $14.70 per hour plus tips, with full-time or part-time options.

You will serve beverages and/or food in a courteous, timely manner, ensuring memorable guest experiences. Required qualifications include two years in upscale server roles, a ServSafe or Food Handler certificate, OLCC permit, and Alcohol Awareness certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year-related server experience in an upscale restaurant setting.
• Ability to handle difficult or emotional customer situations with prompt service.
• Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions.
• Follow policies and procedures.
• Adhere to safety and security procedures; report unsafe conditions.
• Be flexible with scheduling, including occasional extended hours.
• Experience in wine-tasting restaurants preferred.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification and OLCC permit required.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification compliance with state regulations.
• Strong people skills and positive engagement with management, staff, and guests.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with Tock, Toast, and Wine Direct preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest service to restaurant guests.
• Greet guests courteously and document orders for drinks.
• Promote beverages and food while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Record guests' orders and dietary needs for the bar and kitchen.
• Notify kitchen staff of timing and guest requirements.
• Assist with sanitation and cleanliness per health guidelines.
• Maintain table settings and replenish utensils as needed.
• Handle guest checkouts and balance money.
• Support security with disorderly guests as needed.
