Candidates should have hospitality front-of-house experience, Food Handler's Certification, and excellent communication skills. A friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server or similar front-of-house role.
• Food Handler's Certification required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality service procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of Micros POS system.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality/restaurant training preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to handle guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Basic knowledge of reservation/ POS systems is a plus.
• Effective communication with guests, associates and managers.
• Promote teamwork and staff morale.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel property and services.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
• Communicate guest orders to kitchen using the hotel's POS system.
• Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service in a fast-paced environment.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests promptly.
• Process payments and settle checks accurately.
• Set up and break down tables and stations and maintain cleanliness.
• Work harmoniously with coworkers and supervisors.
• Complete side work as assigned and assist with other duties.
