theWit Hotel in downtown Chicago invites a skilled Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences at State and Lake Chicago Tavern. You will take orders, share menu knowledge, and ensure accurate, timely service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server or front-of-house role.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality service procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of the Micros POS system.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service in a fast-paced downtown Chicago setting.
• Take food and beverage orders and communicate with kitchen using POS system.
• Ensure timely service and guest satisfaction; handle guest requests professionally.
• Assist in maintaining menu knowledge and upsell where appropriate.
