Darden Restaurants Inc. is hiring a Sous Chef in Rancho Mirage, CA to support the Executive Chef and lead a team delivering high-quality, safe, and profitable dining experiences. You will ensure menu execution with excellence and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

You will contribute to guest satisfaction and top-line performance by training staff, maintaining quality, and implementing efficient kitchen processes in partnership with the Executive Chef.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Sous Chef or higher in high-volume upscale restaurants.
• Strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and service.
• Proven ability to develop and lead teams.
• Knowledge of systems and processes for great execution.
• Stable job history showing upward progression.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in leading a culinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, profitable dishes.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Contribute to top-line sales and guest counts through strong team performance.
• Ensure menu items are executed with excellence in the restaurant.
• Maintain quality across all kitchen operations.
