The Mather in Evanston is hiring a Server to deliver professional food and beverage service across multiple venues in a luxury senior living environment. You’ll connect with residents and guests, share menu insights, and uphold high dining standards in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent interaction and communication skills.
• Demonstrates completion of assigned duties through effective teamwork.
• Strong hospitality service skills and a passion for interacting with people.
• 1 year+ server experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Prior service experience in dining environment.
• Foundational wine knowledge.
• LobsterInk Level 4 Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes all tables with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Takes accurate food orders.
• Serves food and beverages in multiple venues with differing service styles.
• Provides recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Closes checks promptly and accurately.
• Maintains a neat appearance according to standards.
• Completes related tasks and side work.
• Communicates resident and guest concerns to supervisors.
• Assists in maintaining sanitation standards and goals.
• Participates in Quality Assurance Process Improvement.
