Job summary

Momofuku in New York City is seeking a Server to provide warm, knowledgeable, and energetic service across our menu and beverage offerings. You will guide guests through a memorable dining experience, maintain menu knowledge (including allergens), and uphold company service standards with a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in upscale dining, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an upscale, fast paced, high volume restaurant.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest conflict.
• Willing to work nights, holidays and long days as necessary.
• Standing/walking for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide guest’s complete restaurant experience.
• Maintain full menu knowledge including allergens information.
• Utilize the POS system for order entry and payment processing.
• Stock and prepare service-related items; run food from kitchen to tables.
• Perform tableside service if applicable; maintain professional guest communications.
• Communicate respectfully with the service team and management; assist teammates to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Engage management for escalated guest situations; adhere to cleaning and sanitation SOPs.
