Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Food Workers Certificate (Food handler’s card).
• Minimum of 1 year of food server experience in a high volume, sophisticated or upscale setting.
• Must read, write, understand and speak English fluently.
• Excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and trays with food (30 lbs).
• Must be able to pull/push 50 lbs for seating arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, professional service to restaurant guests.
• Maintain up-to-date menu knowledge and upsell items according to standards.
• Adhere to schedule and attend service staff meetings.
• Operate POS system to input orders and process payments.
• Ensure proper setup of service stations and cleanliness of dining areas.
• Carry out wine and liquor service knowledge in line with state laws.
