Qualifications

• 2–4 years of food service experience; hotel restaurant or upscale dining is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits; ability to make confident and informed beverage recommendations.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the state of Colorado.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active on your feet for the full duration of a shift.
• Ability to carry trays and transport food and beverages safely throughout service.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and managing multiple tables simultaneously.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
• Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the Marriott brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant thoroughly before each shift, ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and guest‑ready.
• Greet every guest warmly and promptly as they arrive or move through the restaurant.
• Guide guests through their culinary journey with descriptive, enthusiastic menu selling and pairing suggestions.
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of every menu item, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and pairings.
• Take orders accurately and confirm all special requests and dietary needs.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner and check guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service and consistent quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area throughout the shift.
• Address guest concerns with patience, empathy, and a resolution‑oriented approach.
