Job summary

The Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, Inc. in Miami Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our upscale dining team. The role focuses on front-of-house leadership, guest satisfaction, and maintaining elevated service standards in a high-volume environment.

You will develop and coach the service team, manage daily FOH operations, and ensure compliance with safety and company policies while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading front-of-house operations in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to motivate and coach a service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage staff, scheduling, and training.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the daily operations of the front-of-house service department.
• Lead FOH operations in the GM/ AGM absence.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and address employee concerns.
• Determine staffing levels, manage breaks, and authorize overtime.
• Maintain a visible dining room presence and engage with guests.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support sales-building strategies and monitor labor costs.
