Job summary

Smith & Wollensky in Miami Beach is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations in a busy, upscale setting. The role relies on strong leadership, hospitality excellence, and a hands-on approach to guest service.

You will recruit, train, and coach the service team, manage staffing and scheduling, monitor labor costs, and uphold food safety and service standards. A HS diploma is required, hospitality degree preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in upscale dining or high-volume restaurant environments.
• Excellent guest-service and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily front-of-house operations and supervise the service team.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop staff; manage performance.
• Determine staffing levels; schedule and monitor breaks, overtime, and labor costs.
• Address guest concerns promptly and uphold service standards; support sales-building efforts.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service.
