Job summary

Hemenway’s Seafood Grill & Oyster Bar Inc., Providence, RI, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead all daily restaurant operations and guest experiences. You will hire, train and develop staff, provide hands-on coaching across service positions, and ensure smooth scheduling and inventory control.

The role requires at least 3 years in a high-volume upscale setting, a flexible work schedule, and strong leadership with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years as Restaurant Manager in upscale, high-volume establishment.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations and guest experience.
• Hire, train and develop employees and managers.
• Hands-on training for service positions: guest service, etiquette, and F&B knowledge.
• Schedule oversight and approval on a weekly basis.
• Manage reconciliation, invoicing and inventory.
