Goldener Hirsch, Auberge Collection is seeking a Restaurant Host to uphold the welcoming atmosphere of our luxury inn in Deer Valley, Utah. You will greet guests, manage check-ins and seating, and ensure smooth dining experiences from arrival to departure.

Ideal candidates have customer service or hospitality experience, strong English communication, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Able to obtain required certifications, including alcohol service where applicable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide courteous service, and manage check-ins and seating.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and log in-room dining orders.
• Coordinate with restaurant/pool staff to optimize guest placements and avoid overbooking.
• Assist with station charts, assign stations, and guide servers and staff on setup.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the host station and work areas.
• Monitor guest profiles, VIP arrivals, and special requests in reservation systems.
• Ensure menus and wine lists are current and well-stocked.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Familiarize yourself with hotel services and local attractions to answer inquiries.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage Management to maintain a positive restaurant atmosphere.
