Qualifications

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self‑motivated and energetic.
• Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage (Tuberculosis Clearance).

Responsibilities

• Provide unique dining experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
• Ensure a positive first impression of the restaurant for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
• Distribution and delivery of guest’s food orders out onto the service floor and serving them at their tables to the correct guest.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, contents & preparation methods, outlets and hotel services/features.
• Assist servers in proper garnishing of all menu items ordered.
• Maintain cleanliness of all chinaware. Monitor quality and consistency of all menu items being served.
• Maintain clean and orderly condition of the service line station.
• Daily requisition of all food condiments and to ensure adequate stock levels of all necessary dishware, linen and condiments for daily service operations.
• Try to remember individual patron’s names and their preferences to extend a personalized service.
• Ensure that all food & beverage are served according to service standard.
• Perform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set all tables according to standards and procedures.
• Assist other Food & Beverage outlets with their operations during peak times or when required.
• Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel.
