Job summary

Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia in Paradise Valley, AZ is seeking a Part Time Food & Beverage Server to join our team. You will deliver warm, personalized service to guests, recommend menu items, and uphold our high standards of hospitality.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of serving experience, knowledge of wine and beverages, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. A Food Handlers certificate is required on hire, and training on MICROS systems is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of serving experience, preferably in high-volume, casual or upscale hotel restaurant settings.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Food Handlers certification obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate needs, and respond to inquiries.
• Provide outstanding service to members and guests with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Maintain familiarity with menus and beverage offerings, including wine service.
• Complete station setup and breakdown, including side-work.
• Process orders and payments accurately using the MICROS system.
• Assist in seating guests and answering restaurant phones as needed.
• Cross-train across other food and beverage outlets as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by the restaurant manager.
