Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks a hands-on General Manager for a high-energy upscale restaurant in Tribeca, NYC. Lead daily operations, coach a seasoned team, and uphold exceptional guest service while driving profitability.

You will partner with ownership to grow private dining, catering, and corporate events, building relations with local businesses and event planners. A dynamic leader will shape one of NYC's exciting restaurant groups.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience.
• 2+ years as a General Manager or senior restaurant leader.
• Experience leading upscale, full-service restaurant operations.
• Strong P&L management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing management and hourly team.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining elevated hospitality standards.
• Own restaurant financial performance, including labor, food cost, beverage cost, inventory, and profitability.
• Drive growth in private dining, catering, banquet, and corporate event business.
• Build relationships with local businesses, hotels, event planners, and community organizations.
• Partner with ownership on strategic initiatives, marketing efforts, and business growth.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and hospitality-driven culture.
