Goodwin Recruiting is helping a respected restaurant group in New Orleans fill a Restaurant General Manager role. This on-site position leads a high-performing team and drives guest satisfaction, service standards, and profitability.

You will oversee daily operations, hire and coach a strong management team, manage budgets, and align the culture with local community values in an upscale, high-energy setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in upscale dining.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver consistently high service standards.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Comfortable working with restaurant technology, financial reporting, and operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day restaurant activities while ensuring efficient and profitable performance
• Champion service standards and product quality while maintaining extensive menu knowledge
• Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, including marketing, HR, and sales
• Hire, coach, develop, and motivate a strong management and service team
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, reconciliations, labor, and administrative functions
• Implement company standards while reinforcing the restaurant's culture, values, and connection to the local community
• Identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, team performance, and overall profitability
