Job summary

MIKA Coral Gables is seeking passionate Servers to join our Front of House team. In this upscale setting, you will deliver warm, personalized service, explain menu and wine pairings, and uphold precise standards of hospitality.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in fine dining, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Toast POS experience and flexibility with evenings and weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in upscale, fine-dining or high-volume restaurant.
• Strong understanding of elevated dining service standards and hospitality etiquette.
• Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine, wine, and classic cocktails preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
• Experience with Toast POS or similar systems is a plus.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, engaging, and personalized service throughout the dining experience.
• Anticipate guest needs and create memorable experiences through attention to detail.
• Demonstrate confidence and professionalism with a genuine personality.
• Recognize returning guests, special occasions, and VIP preferences.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain impeccable table presentation, cleanliness, and organization.
• Enter orders and process payments using the Toast POS system.
• Coordinate with runners, server assistants, bartenders, sommeliers, and kitchen staff.
