Moss New York, in partnership with Compass Group, seeks a polished Server to deliver refined service in a fast-paced setting. You will provide attentive, personalized hospitality, guided by strong menu knowledge and guest engagement for a memorable dining experience.

The role emphasizes welcoming guests, collaborating with the team, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and service throughout each shift.

Formación

• Minimum 2+ years serving in a high-volume, service-driven restaurant environment (upscale or chef-driven concepts preferred).
• Flexible availability for AM and PM shifts, including weekends.
• Strong teamwork, professionalism, and a hospitality-first mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Genuine interest in seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine with willingness to expand culinary and beverage knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders following steps of service.
• Deliver food and maintain sanitation standards; follow up for guest satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and specialized diets; assist with pairings.
• Communicate clearly with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate orders and accommodate special requests.
• Provide exceptional hospitality with strong communication, teamwork, flexibility, and patience.
• Handle tickets and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dining environment; perform opening, service, and closing side work.
• Address guest concerns promptly and elevate issues to a supervisor when needed.
• Operate restaurant equipment including beverage machines, coffee equipment, telephones, and safety tools.
• Support special events and assist other departments as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
