EverTrue is seeking a dining server to join an upscale dining environment, delivering attentive service and guiding guests through menu details and preparation methods. The role emphasizes accuracy, courtesy, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires prior experience in fine dining or country clubs, the ability to manage multiple guests, and a commitment to maintaining high sanitation and service standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year (preferably 2 to 3 years) of waiting in a fine dining or country club venue.
• Ability to read, understand and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members.
• Develop constructive working and interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Strong problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills.
• Active listening and effective communication abilities.
• Hepatitis A vaccine may be required if working in St. Louis County per health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service that reflects an upscale dining experience.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders timely and appropriately.
• Greet customers with courtesy and address dissatisfied guests when needed.
• Know menu details, allergens, and preparation methods to describe to guests.
• Make recommendations and share information about the menu.
• Serve 16+ guests at a time and recall orders upon request.
• Check products for quality and address issues affecting guest experience.
• Perform dining service setup, stocking buffets, preparing beverages, salads and desserts.
• Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies, ensuring proper temperatures and timeliness.
• Assist with cleaning duties and dining service area upkeep.
