Job summary

Hilton Milwaukee’s Monarch Lounge is seeking a dedicated Lead Bartender to deliver exceptional F&B service and showcase strong mixology in an elevated, art-deco setting.

You will set up and stock the bar daily, greet guests, craft cocktails, manage inventory, train and lead junior staff, and ensure compliance with all liquor regulations. This role includes weekend shifts, competitive pay, free meals, staff discounts, and growth opportunities within Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of bartending or bar service in a fine dining outlet.
• Weekend night availability.
• Proficient in English for guest communication.
• Bartending certificate and TIPS certification required.
• Basic math for cash handling.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer; vintages and regions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock the bar daily.
• Maintain stock and garnishes.
• Greet guests, take orders, mix and present drinks.
• Serve food at the bar and assist with table service when needed.
• Understand food and drink menus and wine list.
• Use POS and manage bar inventory.
• Handle cash transactions and guest checks.
• Maintain health standards and glassware.
• Adhere to liquor regulations and laws.
• Assist security and serve in bar area when needed.
