Job summary

Hilton Milwaukee is seeking a dedicated Part Time Bartender to deliver friendly, timely service and contribute to an exceptional guest experience. You will set up the bar, craft drinks from standard recipes, manage par levels, and handle cash with accuracy while maintaining a clean bar area and complying with liquor laws.

Required: 1–2 years bartender experience, government license, Bartending certificate, and TIPS; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of bartending experience required.
• Government license or certificate required to obtain credentials.
• CPR/First Aid preferred; Bartending certificate and TIPS certification required.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and computations.
• Basic English writing for requisitions, balances, and vouchers.
• Dexterity to handle glassware, knives, garnishes, and stock.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up bar daily and check par levels.
• Stock, cut, and store garnishes and perishables.
• Take drink orders, mix and garnish drinks per recipes.
• Update par sheets during shifts for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar and guest areas.
• Handle cash transactions and balance money.
• Lock and store beverages, food, and equipment.
• Comply with liquor laws and assist security with disorderly guests.
