Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts seeks a Part Time bartender for Hilton Milwaukee in downtown Milwaukee. You will deliver friendly, efficient service, set up and stock the bar, handle cash, and ensure compliance with liquor laws.

The role requires 1–2 years of bartending experience, a bartender certificate, and basic math/English writing skills. CPR/First Aid and TIPS certifications are valuable. Enjoy employee perks and a path to advancement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years bartending experience.
• Bartending certificate required; CPR/First Aid and TIPS certifications preferred/required.
• Basic math and English writing skills for cash handling and requisitions.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar daily and check par levels of beer, wine, and spirits.
• Stock, cut, and store garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greet guests, take drink orders, mix and garnish drinks using standard recipes.
• Update par sheets during shifts for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar and guest areas during shifts.
• Handle cash transactions, verify charges, balance money.
• Lock and store beverages, food, and equipment items.
• Follow liquor laws and assist security with disorderly guests.
