Job summary

Sensei Wellness Holdings Inc. is seeking an On-Call Event Server to oversee guest experiences at events in Rancho Mirage, CA. You will set up, serve, and break down banquet events per BEOs, ensuring flawless execution and a polished guest experience.

You must have at least 2 years in upscale restaurants, with fine-dining preferred, and be able to obtain local food handling/alcohol certificates. Sensei offers a professional team environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an upscale restaurant operation; fine-dining experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain any required food handing and/or alcohol serving certificates required by local or state agencies.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Execute the proper and timely setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Prepare event spaces prior to guest arrival, including tables, chairs, bars, buffets, lighting, sound, temperature, and related service elements.
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism and uphold Sensei service standards at all times.
• Provide guests with a friendly, polished, attentive service experience; anticipate needs, respond promptly to questions or concerns.
• Identify VIP guests and follow established VIP service procedures to elevate the guest experience.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
• Follow proper serving techniques and communicate orders to management/kitchen; verify order accuracy.
• Maintain assigned sections, service stations, and equipment in a clean, organized condition before, during, and after events.
• Bus, reset, and prepare tables; complete side work and check out with a manager.
• Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and food and beverage regulations.
• Assist in mentoring or supporting new hires as directed.
