Rancho Valencia in Rancho Santa Fe seeks an experienced Banquet Server to deliver gracious, professional service at our renowned venue. The role involves setting, serving and breaking down banquet functions both plated and buffet, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a luxury resort, basic wine service knowledge, and a valid San Diego County Food Handlers Card, with the ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years banquet server experience in a 4 or 5 star resort environment.
• Basic knowledge of beverage and wine service.
• Valid San Diego County Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to communicate in English with vendors, guests and staff.

Responsabilités

• Set, serve, maintain and breakdown banquet functions, plated and buffet.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
• Describe menu items, take food and beverage orders with poise.
• Assist banquet captain with running events efficiently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas per procedures.
• Work quickly and safely, following departmental policies.
