Job summary

Embassy Suites Georgetown is seeking a PM Restaurant Server to join our dining team and deliver exemplary service in a fast-paced luxury setting. You will take orders, serve meals and beverages, and help maintain a polished dining room while anticipating guest needs.

Qualifications include 1–2 years in high-volume or luxury hospitality, strong communication, and ServeSafe/TIPs certifications. Flexibility for PM shifts and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or relevant work experience.
• 1–2 years' experience in high volume, luxury lounge or restaurant.
• Hospitality experience serving high-profile clients.
• Must possess valid ServeSafe and TIPs certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all food and drink orders from customers are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner.
• Recommend appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials.
• Work closely with restaurant management to address customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience.
• Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders when clarification is requested.
• Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Take and expedite drink orders quickly and accurately; serve refills upon request.
• Follow cash handling and POS procedures.
• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and taxes.
• Follow responsible alcohol service.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
