Job summary

Accor’s OAK Long Bar + Kitchen at a Fairmont property seeks an attentive server to deliver personalized food and beverage service in a luxury setting. You will greet guests, present menus, explain specials, and ensure a seamless dining experience.

Maintain knowledge of menu items, allergens, and promotions while providing accurate order entry and payment processing. You’ll contribute to a polished, guest-centric atmosphere and support events as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in upscale or luxury dining.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
• Must have or obtain required food-handling and alcohol-service certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, welcoming, and attentive service to guests.
• Greet guests, present menus, explain specials, and make recommendations.
• Take orders accurately and relay to kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly with high standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle concerns professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
• Assist with private dining and events as needed.
• Enter orders into POS and process payments.
