Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort in Marathon, FL is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests at the front desk, escort them to tables, present menus, and help welcome guests with a warm, professional hospitality tone.

You will coordinate seating to ensure smooth rotation among servers, take reservations, answer phones, and keep tables properly set for each shift. Previous upscale dining or hotel host experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior upscale restaurant or hotel host experience preferred.
• Greet guests warmly and seat them per rotation standards.
• Take reservations and log them accurately.
• Maintain tables and menus and reset as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and escort to table.
• Provide menus and manage seating per requests and rotation standards.
• Assign stations to servers per rotation standards.
• Coordinate seating to maintain server rotation.
• Answer phones per established standards.
• Take reservations and log them.
• Assist with resetting and cleaning tables.
• Ensure tables are set properly for each shift.
• Respond to guest requests quickly.
