Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort is seeking a friendly and polished Host/Hostess to welcome guests at the front of the dining area. You will escort guests to tables, present menus, and ensure seating aligns with rotation standards to support seamless service throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering phones, managing reservations, and assisting with table resets. Previous upscale hospitality experience is preferred, with benefits including PTO and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience as a host in upscale, fine dining or hotel restaurant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at host stand upon arrival and escort to a table.
• Seat guests and offer appropriate hospitality comment.
• Provide menus and manage seating according to rotation standards.
• Coordinate with servers to maintain rotation and service flow.
• Take reservations and log them in the book.
• Answer phones according to established standards.
• Help reset and clean tables and ensure proper table settings.
